Teacher wins compensation for sex discrimination

An Employment Tribunal has decided that an English teacher was the victim of sex discrimination in relation to her application for the post of Principal Teacher (Pastoral) and an agreement has been reached to pay her compensation of over £16,000 including £5000 for injury to feelings.
