AXA to write from Lloyd’s

Axa Re will write a professional liability account from a box at Lloyd’s, without compromising its position in the London market. A statement makes it clear that this is merely a matter of location (no syndicate involved) because the PI market is now concentrated at Lloyd’s. According to Mark Williams, head of AXA’s newly established PI, financial risks and D&O team, only four major players operate outside Lloyd’s in the UK.
