Varied coverages for different disabilities

Employers have the right to provide better coverage for workers with physical disabilities than for those with mental problems; so ruled the US 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in Weyer v 20th Century Fox Film Corp and Unum Life Insurance Co. It was claimed that inequality in the length of benefits was a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).
