Marchioness public inquiry

After ten years of campaigning by relatives and victims, a public inquiry, under Lord Justice Clarke, will look into all aspects of the collision between the Marchioness and Bowbelle on the river Thames in 1989, resulting in 51 deaths. There will be a separate investigation into why the hands were amputated from some of the victims, for identification purposes.
