ABB in $1.43bn asbestos settlement
Swiss engineering group ABB has announced an agreement with plaintiffs’ attorneys to pay claimants $1.43bn covering asbestos
claims in the US. The deal remains subject to the approval of the 100,000 plaintiffs in the case and a green light from a
US district court and US bankruptcy court.
