Asbestos victim gets compensation

A man whose wife died from mesothelioma has received £107,500 in compensation. The woman was exposed to asbestos as a girl in the 1950s and early 60s when she sat on her father’s knee after he returned home from work from an asbestos factory every lunchtime. She inhaled the asbestos dust from his clothes.
