£4.4mn for paralysed motorcyclist
A motorcyclist has been awarded £4.4mn in damages after he was hit by car. He suffered multiple fractures to his pelvis and
legs and spent a year in hospital, and must now use a wheelchair for life. The driver of the car was an 83-year-old man who
was not prosecuted but did surrender his licence following the accident.
