Time’s up for claims management companies

They were given a chance to clean up their act, but it seems that claims management companies have been unable to convince the government that voluntary self-regulation is the way forward. Secretary of State For Constitutional Affairs and Lord Chancellor Lord Falconer has said that claims management companies handling compensation cases will be regulated under new legislation to reform legal services.
