£200,000 for hit and run victim

A man who was knocked over by a hit and run driver has received £200,000 in a settlement. The man suffered head injuries which caused damage to his eyesight, the loss of his sense of smell and balance mechanism, difficulties with his memory, concentration, organisation, planning, prioritisation, his self confidence and the ability to multitask. He has an enhanced risk of epilepsy and has trouble sleeping. He is unable to continue working as a television producer and cameraman.
