£1.57mn in damages for cerebral palsy baby

A seven-year-old girl who was severely brain-damaged at birth has been awarded £1.57mn in damages. The girl has cerebral palsy which left her profoundly disabled. The NHS Trust admitted liability. The girl has a life expectancy of 15 years, and also has osteoporosis.
