Paddington rail crash victim sues

A victim of the Paddington rail crash is reported to be launching a multi-million pound damages claim against Thames Trains which has admitted liability. The man suffered major burns and was left permanently disabled. A hearing will determine the level of damages to be awarded, but it is expected to amount to several million pounds, covering his injuries, his loss of earnings and the cost of care.
