Woman sues over lost kidney

As a result, she left teacher training college because of the pain and had a private scan a year later which led to her kidney being removed. The NHS trust said that she was told she had to rearrange the appointment herself. The consultant said he believed that her condition had stabilised when she did not rearrange the scan.
