Scottish Executive loses slopping out appeal
The Court of Session has dismissed an appeal by the Scottish Executive against compensation won by a prison inmate over slopping
out. The prisoner won £2,450 after claiming he suffered an outbreak of eczema from slopping out. He claimed that the practice
breached his human rights.
