Equitas in asbestos trust contribution
It has been reported that
Equitas could be liable for around 20% of the $46bn which the insurance industry as a whole would be expected to contribute to an
asbestos trust in the US, under the proposed Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution Act.
Equitas has dismissed the reports, and said the figure would be less than 5% of the total.
