Bush attacks US medical liability system

President Bush has said that the medical liability system in the US is out of control. In a recent speech in Illinois on medical liability reform, the President said that across the US “lawyers are filing baseless suits against hospitals and doctors. And they’re doing it for a simple reason. They know the medical liability system is tilted in their favour.
