Teacher wins unfair dismissal case

A teacher who faced sexual allegations by two girls at his school, and was dismissed as a result, has won £22,000 compensation for being unfairly dismissed. A police investigation found that there was no case to prosecute, and the tribunal criticised the investigation by the school and the local council. The man was represented by teachers’ support group Redress.
