Minimal marine losses from tsunamis for SVB and Goshawk

London market insurers SVB and Goshawk are reported to have put their estimated marine losses as a result of the December 26 tsunamis as “minimal”. Both insurers said that they focused their cover on G7 or G8 countries. Goshawk said that it wrote no direct Asian treaty business outside Japan and that it had no travel or personal accident exposure.
