Cerebral palsy baby gets £5.7mn

A baby who was left with cerebral palsy at birth has received £5.7mn. The baby was starved of oxygen when hospital staff administered a higher dosage of a drug than necessary to aid the mother with her contractions. The child is only expected to live until around 35. The amount was made in a settlement.
