Negligent private doctor pays £800,000

The private doctor who attended Sir Christopher Harding, the chairman of both Legal & General and United Utilities, has been found negligent in failing to call an emergency ambulance, resulting in Sir Christopher’s death. The doctor has been ordered to pay £800,000 in compensation to the widow.
