Mesothelioma settlement from BP

A former employee of BP has received compensation after he was diagnosed with mesothelioma. The employee used to work at BP’s research facility at Sunbury on Thames and was diagnosed with the asbestos related disease last summer. According to Leigh Day & Co., following negotiations the case settled a week before trial for £170,000 plus industrial disease disablement benefits.
