Approval for Boeing settlement

A US Judge has given preliminary approval to Boeing’s settlement plan to resolve a sex discrimination class action. The company has agreed to pay up to $72.5mn to around 29,000 former and current female employees. The employees claimed that that they were unfairly denied compensation and opportunities for promotion through Boeing’s employment practices.
