Contract ended after year off sick

An ex-employee of car manufacturer Honda is suing the company for loss of earnings after her contract was ended because she had been off work for a year. The woman, who was controller of finance, was off work for a year due to anxiety and depression. She is claiming compensation for pain and suffering, as well as financial compensation for loss of earnings.
