Insurers sue Osama bin Laden

Chubb, American Re, Zurich American and other insurers are to sue Osama bin Laden of al Qaeda over the September 11 attacks. The insurers have filed a $300bn lawsuit against Osama bin Laden, al Qaeda, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Sudan and others. The aim is to recover payouts on property, workers’ compensation and other policies related to the attacks.
