Speeding policeman gets £90,000 damages

A court has awarded damages of nearly £90,000 to a former policeman involved in a crash during a high speed chase in a police car. The police car hit another car which had failed to give way despite siren warnings. The policeman suffered a neck injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, and was retired from the force on medical grounds.
