Offshore energy insurance ‘under profitability pressure’

PREMIUM growth for the global offshore energy insurance market last year largely reflected currency movements and changes in business mix rather than underlying market expansion, according to Michele Cibrario, chair of the offshore energy committee at the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI).
