UNDERSTANDABLY, when we talk about crash-for-cash fraud, the conversation often centres around financial loss. The grievous figure of £576m ($780m) in claims in 2024 alone, as recorded by the Association of British Insurers, is just one eye-watering example of the many we could reach for.
