Australia to ease access to alternative insurance markets
Reinsurance cover will no longer need reinstatement provision to count towards capital adequacy
AUSTRALIA’S insurance regulator is to lift the reinstatement and all-perils requirements for alternative reinsurance contracts,
allowing firms greater access to insurance-linked securities and similar products.
