The political violence market must respond to growing grey zone threat

Political violence risk can no longer be assessed only through the lens of war or terrorism — it must also account for disruption that sits below the threshold of open conflict

POLITICAL violence is becoming harder to define and easier to overlook. For insurers and risk managers, the threat now extends beyond conventional war and terrorism to include grey zone activity such as sabotage, malicious damage, and cyber-enabled disruption intended to cause harm without clear responsibility.
