EU cranks up sanctions on Russia following Orbán's exit - but will they make a difference?

The dust had barely settled on former Hungarian Prime Minister (PM) Viktor Orbán's election loss on 12 April when the European Union (EU) cranked up its efforts to rein in the Russian war machine, adopting the 20th package 1 of sanctions on 23 April.
