US seizure

According to a US defence department post on social media, US forces interdicted a sanctioned vessel that was transporting oil from Iran. "US forces carried out a maritime interdiction and right-of-visit boarding of the sanctioned stateless vessel Majestic X transporting oil from Iran, in the Indian Ocean", the US military said. The department noted that the US military would continue to interdict vessels suspected of "providing material support to Iran. We will continue global maritime enforcement to disrupt illicit networks and interdict vessels providing material support to Iran, wherever they operate".
