How 100% FDI is rewriting India’s insurance playbook

INDIA’s insurance sector has witnessed a series of regulatory reforms and, among others, the most recent is the increase of the foreign direct investment (FDI) cap in Indian insurance companies to 100%, enabled by the Sabka Bima Sabki Raksha (Amendment of Insurance Laws) Act, 2025.
