No cover for donkey racer

A donkey derby business has been forced to close because of the lack of available insurance cover for professional liability. The business, one of only two donkey-race operators in the country, had been insured by Lloyd’s, paying £1,600 a year, but according to the Daily Telegraph, he has been unable to renew his insurance to cover his professional liability. In 38 years, the business has never been taken to court and has paid just two settlements.
