No recovery for non-economic loss

In claims of unfair dismissal in employment tribunals, there is no recovery for non-economic loss. Employment Appeal Tribunal considered three unrelated unfair dismissal cases, in the light of the House of Lords decision in Johnson v Unisys Ltd . The appeal tribunal allowed two appeals by employers against awards for injuries to feelings, and dismissed one appeal by an employee against a tribunal decision not to award compensation for injury to feelings.
