US D&O survey from Tillinghast – Towers Perrin

Directors & Officers (D&O) liability insurance premiums in the US rose by nearly 30% according to the latest survey from Tillinghast – Towers Perrin. The survey, ‘2002 Directors & Officers Liability Survey,’ said that this ‘sustained increase in premiums reflects continued concern over high-profile bankruptcies, corporate scandals and D&O lawsuits – particularly securities and shareholder litigation.’
