Holiday firm sued for psychological damage

A group of passengers whose plane crashed in Spain have been given the go-ahead to sue their holiday company for compensation. The 70 passengers, out of the total of 236 on the plane, are to pursue a claim against Thomson Holidays for psychological damage. The plane crashed when it had to land in a field during a thunderstorm in 1999. Some passengers received compensation for physical injuries suffered during the crash landing.
