WTC fund lawsuits dismissed

Three lawsuits which claimed that the 11 September Victim Compensation Fund is unfair to the families of high-income victims have been dismissed. The main complaint was against the procedures for assessing awards which are based on income levels and needs-testing. The judge said that the procedures and the applicable regulations were legal and valid and dismissed the lawsuits.
