Victimised asylum seekers fail in claim

A family of Turkish asylum seekers lost their battle for damages after being racially victimised when they were housed in Glasgow by the National Asylum Support Service. The High Court rejected the claim for damages for violations of human rights. The claim for compensation was against the National Asylum Support Service and the Home Secretary David Blunkett.
