Times, they are a-changin'

Julian Kirkman-Page, of the Russell Group, suggests it is critical to understand maritime risk in the brave new world of connected risk

The consensus that globalisation is an irresistible force could be foundering on the stormy seas of national self-interest. At the same time, trade is shifting from West to East in a re-globalisation of trade. Those were key messages I delivered in my presentation, "Geopolitics in a Brave New World", as part of the president's workshop at the recent IUMI conference in Singapore.
