Reflecting on 15 years of contribution to Lloyd's Shipping & Trade Law

This September marks the 25th anniversary of Lloyd's Shipping & Trade Law (LSTL), and I am proud to celebrate my own 15-year journey contributing to this distinguished publication. This milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on how LSTL has not only been instrumental in my professional growth but has also been a constant companion throughout my career in shipping law.

I first came across LSTL (then known as Shipping & Trade Law) as a law student at the University of Southampton. Over the past 15 years, I have contributed 160 articles and case commentaries, a body of work that has been invaluable in shaping my career. Contributing to LSTL has sharpened my legal reasoning by analysing how parties presented their arguments and how judges reached their decisions, and build confidence in handling complex, high-stakes cases.
