Public inquiry call for X-ray dye
Campaigners are calling for an inquiry into the use of a dye used in X rays of back sufferers. The dye, made by Glaxo, was
injected into the spine of back sufferers to enable X-rays to be clearer. The dye was removed from use back in the 1980s,
and since then the company has paid out in settlements but has not admitted liability. The campaigners say that thousands
of other people have been affected, and are calling for a public inquiry.
