IUA to spotlight London market claims expertise: Jones Identifying and promoting the London company market’s claims expertise will be a top priority for the International Underwriting Association (IUA), its recently appointed chief executive, Chris Jones, says. Speaking to Insurance Day, Jones says the claims services is the “calling card” of the London market, but more needs to be done to promote the service and talent on offer. The new chief executive has already split his previous role into separate claims and underwriting functions and says the organisation will do more to identify and promote “technical excellence” on both fronts.
