Hands-free phone risk

A study in the March issue of The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied has suggested that hands-free cell phones cause just as much distraction as hand-held devices. The problem of inattention blindness in drivers using cell phones is not reduced by hands-free phones, and the authors of the report warn that drivers using hands-free phones may have a false sense of security.
