Helping sick employees back to work

A pilot research project has been launched to find new ways of helping sick workers keep their jobs. The Job Retention & Rehabilitation Pilot, funded by the Department for Work & Pensions in partnership with the Department of Health, will examine the barriers preventing people from a healthy return to work after sick absence and try to find ways of overcoming them.
