US states sue EPA over carbon dioxide emissions

A number of US states have filed a lawsuit against the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for failure to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from power plants. The lawsuit argues that the current policy on emissions violates the Clean Air Act. It also says that the policy contributes to global warming.
