KCC hurricane model becomes first approved under new Florida law

New version of firm's hurricane model includes various enhancements to vulnerability functions and updated climate data

The Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology has certified Karen Clark & Co's US Hurricane Reference Model Version 5.0, making it the first to be approved under the commission's recently revised standards.
