Car parking chaos hits hospital

A hospital in Wales was forced to postpone surgery because staff were unable to park their cars and were late for work. A new car parking arrangement was introduced at the hospital which reduced the number of spaces for staff. The result was that many staff could not find a parking space. It was reported that a heart operation had to be postponed as a result. The hospital trust later apologised to staff and patients and was reviewing the car parking arrangements.
