Bayer insurance may not cover all Baycol lawsuits

Bayer has admitted that it could incur charges in excess of its insurance coverage in relation to lawsuits over Baycol. The company says that around 8400 suits have been filed, but adds that 4600 of which ‘are virtually identical complaints filed by a single law firm which has not provided details regarding the ailments claimed by the plaintiffs.’
