Managing challenges on soybean claims

Soybean transport is resulting in increasing claims, with challenges from both severe weather and also from the growing tariff war between China and the US, as Liz Booth reports

China's overdependence on Brazilian soybeans is a vulnerability that could leave it exposed in the growing trade war with the US, according to a new report by Russell Group. Meanwhile, the cargo is plagued by claims, often a result of poor stowage and bad weather.
