Comparison required for sex discrimination

Sex discrimination case dismissed on the grounds that the facts of the males involved were different to those of the female case and therefore they did not provide a valid comparison. Female chief inspector prevented from doing staff appraisals while two male colleagues were allowed to continue. Industrial tribunal had supported her claim, while Court of Appeal rejected it.
