Sexual harassment settlement

Four women who filed sexual harassment complaints against the former president of an airline consulting firm in New York have been paid US$2.3mn in a settlement of the lawsuit. It was alleged that certain female employees were subjected to a hostile work environment, and that the company failed to take prompt and appropriate action to end the sexual harassment. The company has also agreed to conduct intensive sexual harassment training for their managers and their employees.
